Féile Eile
Killaloe/Ballina Children’s Arts Festival
Now in its fifth year, Féile Eile 2012 was the most successful to date.
The Great Big Free Fun Day and the Big Gig had record numbers attending, whilst the Weatherproof Festival Afternoon exceeded all expectations with over 350 people coming to the Lakeside for three top quality live shows.
One of the highlights of the Free Fun Day workshops were songwriting sessions, ably run by Steve and Aine Coakley in one room and Jo Young and Dave Hughes in another. The results were recorded and have been uploaded as videos. The videos are listed by group, and labelled by group leaders name (Jo or Steve). Ages range from 11 (the Eagles) down to 4 (Moles).
