Shows for Adults

Modern Times (live)

Charlie Chaplin’s 1936 masterpiece is a satire on modern life,
with themes that resonate today more than ever.
Music in the Glen’s performance recreates the earliest days of
cinema by having live musicians providing the score.

Billie, Janis & Amy

Billie, Janis & Amy is a gig with a story. The lives, loves and
lows of three era-defining talents - Billie Holliday, Janis Joplin
and Amy Winehouse - are brought to life, interspersed with
spine-tingling live renditions of their greatest songs.

From the roaring twenties, through the Summer of Love and on
to the MTV generation, the parallel paths of these three divas pack
a powerful dramatic and musical punch.

Lola Montez

This extraordinary show traces the life of the Irish dancer, chancer
and courtesan whose fame in the nineteenth century was only
rivalled by Queen Victoria. She prompted revolutions, briefly
ruled Bavaria and became Broadway’s biggest star, finding
time to star in a string of sex scandals. The show mixes singing,
dance, cabaret and theatre and has enjoyed a string of sell-out
shows at Dolan’s Warehouse, The Sugar Club and the Playhouse.

Ballads for Boru

Diane Daly is one of Ireland’s most celebrated and versatile
violinists - a member of the Irish Chamber Orchestra, equally
at home recording with artists including Paul McCartney, Phil
Coulter, The Corrs and Katie Melua.

Diane performs a range of popular Irish Ballads, alongside folk
songs, film scores and light classical favourites. The show is given
structure by the story of Brian Boru, from his early days as a freedom fighter in the hills of Clare, rising to become the first and only high king of all Ireland
