String Teaching
Diane Daly has developed an innovative music programme for children that increases the effectiveness and fun of learning an instrument whilst reducing the cost.
The concept takes young children from the first musical steps of pre-instrumental Music and Drama sessions on to Beginner Strings, and then Next Step strings, as well as learning to play together in a chidren's orchestra.
Currently the programme runs in Killaloe Tuesdays-Thursdays and in Limerick on Saturdays as part of Saturday Strings at the Irish Chamber Orchestra studio at the University of Limerick, which includes the Limerick Children's Orchestra, open to all young musicians.
